Biography Andreas Göx

Andreas Göx, born 1960 in Berlin-Waimannslust, studied musicology and philosophy at the Freie
Universität Berlin. Andreas continues to live and work as a photographer, author, performer and
voice over artist in his home city.


Author / Performer:

„Ich bin ein Berliner“, a collection of short stories about growing up in West-Berlin, during the Cold
War.
Stage text for „Ich bin ein Berliner“, a one man show performed during the official celebrations of
the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, Pavillion am Kurfürstendamm (Berlin); Oblomov
(Berlin); Villa Neukölln (Berlin); and scheduled as part of the program at St. John´s Theatre,
Listowel, Ireland, in May, 2020 during the 50th anniversary of the Listowel Writer´s Week
